Overview
This is a preparatory program for candidates aspiring to appear for Level 2 as per ISO 9712 (previously, EN 473). The Program is designed to assist the candidate in preparing for the Method Examination. The program is aligned as per syllabus from (ISO 25107). All applicable standards will be covered. Hands on practicals and mock up examination will be included.

All NDT personnel, inspectors and technicians engaged in, or responsible for, inspection of castings, forgings or fabricated items during manufacture or in-service in different product sectors.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical field or Science Graduate.
1) He / she should be a diploma, degree or science graduate. A 12th standard pass may have issues in understanding the standards and his / her capabilities need to be doubly ensured.
(If the candidate is having less education i.e 12th and ITI, training hours will be more. At any time during the assessments in training if the candidate is lacking the minimum requirement, he / she may have to spend extra hours for training. Please contact IQS for details.)
2) He / she must have hands-on experience. He /she will be given samples for testing independently with no instructions on testing, which have to be created by them.
3) He / she must have theoretical background too. We expect them to be SNT-TC -1A NDT Level II and we always recommend you to send such candidates for further upgrading. Further we would ask you to recommend only those Level II candidates with a higher level of understanding and exposure, for good results.
Experience: 4 months’ experience in VT.
Vision test requirement : Jager J1 and Colour vision requirements have to be met.
Final VT examination will be conducted by TUV NORD. Examination to be conducted for Multisector Certification.
